Since going live in December 2006 the Royal Derby Hospital pathology laboratory has reported 10,000 histopathology reports (not including supplementaries) using the PathoSys® system.

Just under 7,000 of these reports were authorised with PathoSys® interfaced to the iSoft CILMS system.

The CILMS system was replaced with the iSoft iLab (Apex) system in April 2009 and the remaining 3,000 reports have been authorised with PathoSys® interfaced to iLab (Apex).

Since mid 2008 Burton Hospitals NHS Trust pathology merged with Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust pathology and both Trusts report using PathoSys®.
