AES Medical will be exhibiting the PathoSys® cancer reporting and information management system between 18-20 October 2006 in Amsterdam at the United Kingdom Association of Cancer Registries (UKACR) Conference 2006. AES Medical has regularly attended the UKACR annual conference since 2001.
About the conference
The theme of the conference is “the role of cancer registries in surveillance and cancer care”. It will offer the opportunity to compare cancer registration in both the United Kingdom and the Netherlands and to further collaboration between the two nations.
This year’s conference takes place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and is organised by the United Kingdom Association of Cancer Registries in collaboration with the Netherlands Cancer Registry, Association of Comprehensive Cancer Centres.
The Nine comprehensive cancer centres (CCC’s) in the Netherlands provide cancer patients and their families access to comprehensive and high-quality care as close to home as possible. They were set up to improve treatment, patient care and clinical research within the field of oncology.
The role of AES Medical
AES Medical has installations of the PathoSys® cancer reporting and information management system in the UK covering approximately 4.2 million inhabitants. PathoSys® provides fast and accurate export of comprehensive pathology cancer data. In practice this results in a reduced workload for the laboratory exporting the data and increased reliability, quality and accuracy for the recipient. AES Medical works together wherever possible with the cancer registries of our customers and potential customers to facilitate these benefits, both to our customers and the registries.
We would like to invite all interested parties attending the UKACR conference to visit us at our stand.
