1st & 2nd Line Technical Support Analysts

AES has been a leading provider of critical defence and healthcare information systems and solutions for over 25 years.

As part of our on-going expansion plans we are looking for motivated individuals with a desire to provide excellent customer support for our bespoke software solutions.  Based in Derby you will provide support via email, telephone and remote access.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and successful company where you will work directly with software development teams on a number of exciting projects. This role has the potential to provide exposure to all stages of the application lifecycle as well as management of the internal IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include:
  -  Installation of bespoke software (remotely)
  -  Support by phone, email and remote desktop for current users
  -  Recording bugs for the development teams

The ideal candidate will have skills / experience with:
  -  Customer communication
  -  Microsoft desktop OS
  -  Microsoft server OS
  -  Remote desktop
  -  Troubleshooting pc issues
  -  SQL Server (Optional)
  -  VB6 / C# (Optional)

Candidates will have a strong background in problem solving and experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
